Order Control System
The OCS system is designed to log and track orders for a company making picture mounts.
Manufacturers and orders are entered, as they are completed they can be picked up for invoicing.
The system tracks orders not completed and orders not invoiced to ensure none are missed.
A second system has been developed to control the order and stock of printed pictures,
giving the same facilities for tracking and invoicing.
One further system is in operation which tracks orders for picture frames ordered at a shop.
This information can then be downloaded to the mount factory and the print factory where the
appropriate items are made and put together. The order can then be delivered back to the shop
ready for the customer. Tracking the progress of the order, and ensuring nothing goes missing
is a very important part of this system.
